CONCEPT

Chasuble is a liturgical garment that the priests wear on the Tunic or Alb and Stole for the celebration of the Eucharist. Liturgical colors: white (or gold), green, red, purple, rosaceous and black. As for its shape, the chasuble has evolved over time.

DETAILS OF THE PRODUCT

Chrism Mass Chasuble Presidential CS060. Made in jacquard, fabric with discreet golden metallic threads and artificial fibers, providing a unique and smooth shine. This chasuble is developed in the monastic model with folded collar front opening. Detail: embroidery applied directly to the garment, front and collar. On the sides, a 7 cm wide stripe applied, where the phrases: "AVE SANCTUM OLEUM" and "AVE SANCTUM CHRISMA" are embroidered. The finish is in golden bias and is available in golden beige. Sizes S, M and L. Goes with chasuble’s stole.

TIPS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- DON’T WASH in the washing machine, it’s preferable to dry-clean them in specialized laundries;

- IRON IT inside out, in medium heat as indicated in the composition and conservation tag;

- After usage, leave the piece to rest for one hour in the open air;

- Hang it in good hangers;

- Don’t keep it for too long wrapped in plastic.

DON’T IRON ON: prints, needlework, galloons and metallic fabrics. 

THE HOLY CHRISM MASS:

In the Maundy Thursday begins the Paschal Triduum with the celebration of the Lord’s Supper and Washing the Feet. In this very day, in the morning, the Chrism Mass is usually celebrated, in which the Bishop consecrates the Holy Oils that are handed to the parish priests for the anointing of the Sacraments. During this mass the presbyters there joined, before the Bishop, renew the Priest’s Promises. Given the importance of this celebration, CORDIS has developed special clothing to mark this moment of unit in the Particular Church.
